Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

Position Overview:
Fundy Veterinarians, Shubenacadie location, is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia and monitor surgical procedures
- Perform lab work and provide animal care
- Work one evening per week, share Saturday mornings on a rotation.
- Maintain accurate records using Avimark computer software
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in anesthesia protocols, surgical monitoring, lab work, and animal nursing care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- New graduates are welcome; mentoring available from our three experienced Technicians and RVT Hospital Manager.
Work Schedule:
- One evening per week
- Shared Saturday mornings
- Regularly scheduled day off during the week for work/life balance (4 day work week)
Equipment and Facilities:
- IDEXX in-house hematology and chemistry machines
- Digital radiography and dental radiography
- Avimark computer software records system
