What You'll Do

  • Provide preventative, medical, and emergency care to large animal patients, including dairy, beef, equine, and small ruminant species.

  • Perform herd health consultations and develop preventative health programs.

  • Conduct routine and advanced reproductive work, diagnostics, and field procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with producers and animal owners through excellent communication and compassionate care.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with colleagues to deliver the highest standard of medicine.

  • Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.


What We're Looking For

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

  • Eligibility for licensure, or licensure in good standing, to practice in Nova Scotia.

  • An interest in, or experience with, large animal medicine.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • A commitment to practicing high-quality medicine and supporting the communities we serve.
