Queen West Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with 2+ years of experience to join our progressive and collaborative team in downtown Toronto.

We are a multi-doctor, fast paced facility that aims to give our patients the quality of care you would expect for your own pets. Over the past 2 years, we have been restructuring and building a team with like values and goals. We believe in leading with support, understanding, and kindness.
We have a modern space by Trinity Bellwoods Park with multiple exam rooms, separate surgery & dental suites, an ultrasound, and many other bells and whistles! Collectively, we like to learn a lot, consistently improve, work hard, and laugh louder.
What We Offer:

• Pay based on experience ($23-$32/hour)
• Flexible scheduling opportunities – a choice between 4 or 5 work days a week.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Utilize your skills to your full potential;
• Including but not limited to: dental x-rays + prophy, surgical + anesthetic monitoring, venipuncture, assisting DVMs in appointments, various sample collections (cysto, skin, ears), injections, client communication + education, radiographs.
• Collaborate with the team to provide excellent patient care.
• Be able to flex your creative muscles, and provide suggestions on how to enhance processes.
Requirements:
• Registered, and in good standing with the OAVT.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Strong technical skills, sense of initiative, team-first attitude, and honest communication.
