We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join the team at Bayridge Animal Hospital in Kingston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician looking for a full-time role with flexibility, strong collaboration, and a supportive, long-standing hospital environment.

About Us

Bayridge Animal Hospital has been proudly serving the Kingston community for over 30 years. We are a multi-DVM, full-service companion animal hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for dogs and cats. Our team currently includes 7 experienced veterinarians and 12+ dedicated support staff, creating a stable, collaborative, and team-oriented environment where knowledge sharing is part of everyday practice. We take a team-based medicine approach, where case discussion and collaboration are encouraged and supported.

Our Facility & Services

Our modern, well-equipped hospital offers a wide range of advanced services, including:

  • Comprehensive dental suite providing full oral health care
  • On-site laboratory with extensive diagnostic testing capabilities
  • Digital radiography and ultrasound with remote specialist consultation capabilities
  • Fully equipped surgical suite supporting:
    • Routine surgeries
    • Soft tissue procedures
    • Orthopedic surgeries
    • Oncological procedures
    • We also utilize Covet AI for medical note-taking, helping streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in patient documentation.

The Opportunity

  • Full-time role: 4 days per week
  • No weekends
  • No on-call or emergency after-hours requirements
  • Flexible structure still supporting strong work-life balance, ideal for:
    • DVMs seeking consistent full-time hours without burnout
    • Practitioners looking for stability within a collaborative team
    • Those wanting structured clinical days with meaningful team engagement

You will work alongside 3–4 veterinarians daily, providing ample opportunity for case discussion, shared learning, and team support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed (or eligible for full licensure) DVM in Ontario
  • Strong communicator who values collaborative, team-based care
  • Interest in general practice with exposure to a wide range of surgical and medical cases
  • Passion for providing excellent patient and client care
