We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Veterinary Receptionist with prior clinical experience to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing client interactions, scheduling, and front-desk operations with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service as the first point of contact for the clinic
- Efficiently manage a high-volume appointment schedule, including urgent and same-day bookings
- Triage incoming calls and prioritize patient needs appropriately
- Maintain precise and up-to-date medical records
- Process payments and insurance claims accurately
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth clinic flow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or related experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinic procedures
- Proven ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with veterinary practice management software is considered an asset
Schedule:
- Part-Time or Full-time schedule available
- 8-10 hours per shift
- Rotating weekends required
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage of $18.00–$22.00, based on experience
