Customer Service Representative - Westbank Animal Care Hospital

WestbankAnimal Care Hospital is looking to add a Veterinary Assistant to our team.

Located in the heart of Westbank BC, we are a fast-paced veterinary hospital.We pride ourselves on providing exceptional client and patient care, while also focusing on maintaining a welcoming, professional workplace where our team can thrive.

This position involves supporting our team in various aspects of the hospital including: 

-    -Ensuring the hospital is clean and well stocked.

-     - Patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered technician or Veterinarian

        -Assisting the doctors and registered technicians with surgery prep and patient restraint as   necessary

      Assisting in reception as necessary including:

-    -Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing the front      desk
- Assisting with billing and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate records and files
- Coordinating communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
- Keeping the reception area clean and organized

The successful applicant will have:

-Previous experience in customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills

- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not required

 - Must be available for some evening and Saturday shifts
