We are a mixed animal practice, offering the opportunity to work with both small and large animal patients. Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Premium pay for RVTs ($25 - $27 per hour), plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, a Wellness Spending Account, uniform allowance, paid license renewal, and more.


Flexible Scheduling:We’re ideally looking to fill Five 8-hour shifts per week, including availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed. The Registered Veterinary Technologist will work both within the hospital and out in the field. Occasional travel to Quesnel may be required. We’re open to both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time candidates.


As a key member of our medical team, your responsibilitieswill include:

  • Anesthetic induction and monitoring: Ensure the safety and comfort of our patients during surgical procedures. 
  • Caring for in-house patients: Provide compassionate care and monitoring for animals recovering from surgery or receiving treatment. 
  • Client education and communication: Educate pet owners on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-operative care. 
  • Digital imaging and diagnostics: Utilize digital radiographs to support patient diagnosis and treatment. 
  • Dental care: Perform and assist with dental procedures, including digital dental x-rays. 
  • In-house laboratory testing: Use your knowledge and precision to conduct diagnostic testing that supports patient care. 
  • Assist with both small animal and large animal cases, providing opportunities to utilize and expand your RVT skills across a variety of species.
