As an RVT at Bracebridge Animal Hospital, you’re not just a technician—you’re a vital part of our team. Working alongside experienced veterinarians, other RVTs, and support staff to provide top-notch care. Your expertise in animal care, diagnostics, dentistry, and more will shine here. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and colleagues.
  • Execute quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Provide excellent veterinary nursing care while adhering to provincial regulations and Fear Free techniques.
  • Administer and analyze diagnostic tests as directed by the Veterinarian.
  • Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures, including administering and monitoring anesthesia and analgesia.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other team members as needed.
  • Working with Client Services Representatives answering phones, greeting clients, and taking payments as needed.

Position Details

·Job Type: Full-time, (Maternity Leave Coverage)

·Hours: 32–40 hours per week

·Wage: $24.00–$27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • License in good standing with the OAVT.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

This position is a fixed-term contract for the purpose of providing coverage during a maternity leave with the opportunity to become full-timecontinued employment beyond the maternity leave period. No on-call duty obligations.
